Bulgogi Korean Grill – A Family Experience

Bulgogi Korean Grill

Admittedly I didn’t know too much about Korean BBQ, however my nephew and his wife love it.

So, when they came to visit, they found this restaurant, Bulgogi Korean Grill (www.bulgogigreenville.com) online and asked us to give it a try.

My nephew has had Korean BBQ all over the country including a lot in Los Angeles when he lived there.

His wife is from the Philippines and has been eating it her entire life.  So, as far as I’m concerned, they are experts and I trust their opinion.  So we went….

It is a bit of a hole in the wall kind of place in an older strip center off E. North St near N Pleasantburg and Pelham Rd.

It’s very simple inside and feels local and family owned as soon as you enter.

The staff is small but friendly with Grandma in the kitchen doing all the cooking.

Needless to say, the food is amazing.

We tried grilled beef bulgogi, frilled spicy pork and Korean fried chicken.

Before the entrees arrive, they serve a sampling of kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers.  It was all great.

The spice level was perfect for us with enough kick but not miserable.

According to my experts, it is the best they’ve had in the country.

On our first visit there, I started talking to another customer who also claims to have eaten Korean BBQ all over the country and said this was the best and most legit place he’d found.

This is a must go whenever my nephew is in town.

Try it out as this is another one that is Fancy like Greenville.

Stay fancy.
